But the heart of HB Golf Wear goes deeper — it’s a family story, and HB Golf Wear is proudly run and cared for by Marna van der Merwe, keeping our family values at the centre of everything we do.

A Family-Driven Beginning

HB Golf Wear was started by my husband and I as a family project. As parents and golf lovers, we saw a gap in the market: kids had very few options when it came to high-quality, stylish golf shirts made just for them.

One day, after yet another search for proper kids’ golf apparel, we realised, “Why not create our own?” And so, around our family table in Hartenbos, this brand was born — built on passion, creativity, and a desire to support young golfers.

For us, this is more than a business. It’s something meaningful for our family, our community, and the next generation of golfers.
